Land phone message "The number you have reached is not in service" after rings?

Filiberto Amauty: The # of rings before the disconnect message would make NO difference. It sounds as if the line has been disconnected or perhaps changed permanently.Usually if a line cut off for non payment the response will be "The number you have reached is not in service at this time, please try your call later" That is what Qwest says, all telcos are different.

Dallas Bartolini: it is possible that she had a "DELAY forwarding" onby forwarding a call to a "NON EXIST" phone number after 3 rings.
