Shaunta Paap: I work in the Television, Film and Radio center at my school. I don't work on a technical side of things, mostly just assisting professors in our studio.Long story short, this happened to one of our monitors just yesterday. I asked one of our engineers and he said that televisions now have these detectors in them, meant to find a feed or broadcast that's sent to them so they can project it on the screen. When those detectors are broken, the TV keeps trying to find it and it turns on and off. If you still have a warranty on the TV, I would send it back for repair or exchange. There may even be a simpler explanation then everything I just said. If not try and contact the place you bought it from and see if they can help you. Best of luck!...Show more
