Lane conditions?

Jude Kennelly: medium-dry lanes is what most bowling alleys use. it means that the inside of the lanes has some oil.. the outsides of the lane are dry... this means that if you throw your ball outside it will hook in alot... if you throw your ball in the middle of the lane, it will stay straight. most likely your bowling alley has medium-dry lanes. 99% of every bowling alley use that.. and the Tropical Storm ball is a good everyday ball.. it works on almost every oil pattern.

Noah Deni: For medium dry conditions, try these:Brunswick AvalancheBrunswick Red ZoneBrunswick Power GrooveBrunswick International Dry ZoneStorm Jolt and Jolt ParticleStorm Tropical StormColumbia 300 Scout Hi-FlareHammer Blue and Cherry VibesI've seen these in action and are perfect for these types of medium-dry lane conditions. Also, any high performance aggressive bowling ball can be made to hook less by polishing the coverstock surface and by using exotic drillings as well. Speak to your l! ocal pro shop. Houston Venezia: ask the owner of the bowling alley and he can tell you or you can ask another person that bowls there for there opinon

Toby Women: You can ask the lane maintenance personnel, or you can throw your bowling ball and see what the ball is doing on the lane. Whether the ball rolls out(dry) or keep sliding in the lane(oily)Normally medium dry ball will have shiny surface as compared to heavy oil ball.
