And get large bursts of energy through out the day. So this breed would have you quite busy....answers 4:Poms are great little dogs. I have two,one is 12 and the other is13 and I've had both since they were puppies. The pros of the Pomeranian breed are loyalty, intelligence, spunk, and adorable quirkin! ess. The cons are the same for most of the toy breeds: almost ! impossible to potty train, yapping, tenacity, and fragile leg bones that can break if the dog jumps off a bed, {though it's never happened to mine}. I have found that they are respectful of boundaries, love to fetch, don't handle change really well, and one of my favorite quirks is that they take one bite of food from the bowl and take it across the room to eat it, every bite.My little girl Pom is named Rosey, and my boy is Poppy, and all they want is to sit with me all day. They need to be brushed every day and bathed once every couple of weeks, too frequent bathing dries out their skin. You can always get a puppy cut if you don't want to brush them.I adore the Pom breed and I'm sure you will too, kudos for looking before you leap....
